I'm Tianni Fazio, an artist with a passion for capturing the beauty of homes and gardens in detailed illustrations.
My Story
My background in art, comes from being creatively encouraged as a kid. I had a wonderful art teacher at school, (she is still great). š
I studied Fine Art, with a major in painting, specialising in Oils, which accompanied my āobsessiveā love of colour.
Iāve always painted and approached all my arts practice with a painterās mind. This extends into surface design textiles and any creative challenge.
Rediscovering My Passion
I was encouraged by friends to get back into my arts practice by accepting the Inktober challenge in 2019. An online event, challenging you to draw an ink picture every day. I had never really been a drawer, so this approach became a game changer.
A Love for Art Materials
I have a love of art materials, that has influenced most of my working life. Working in and around art shops, teaching and being involved with art education and recruitment of the creatives!
I am a big fan of Faber Castell (FC), loving the materials, the company and the rep, who had a big influence on my art material appreciation and work ethic.
Over the years I have collected numerous FC products and it was time to really put them all to good use. It was also a very convenient media when working from the kitchen table and running a family. You can put the lid on a pen and flip a pancake!
